Workspaces and Members

A team workspace is the shared home for a team's bookmarks and boards. Your personal workspace always stays separate from every team workspace.

When the workspace switcher appears

Marqly keeps the existing sidebar unchanged when you only have your personal workspace. The workspace switcher appears after you create or join a team workspace. Switching workspaces changes the boards and bookmarks shown in Marqly.

Create a team workspace

Teams is purchased per seat from the Teams page: $9 per seat per month, or $72 per seat per year, with a 3-seat minimum and a 500-seat maximum. The person who creates the workspace is its Owner and pays one bill for the whole team.

note

Teams is managed and purchased on the web (app.marqly.com). The iOS and Android apps stay personal-scoped.

Invite a member

Workspace Owners and Admins can invite people by email:

  1. Open Settings → Workspace.
  2. Select Invite member.
  3. Enter their email address and choose a role.
  4. Send the invitation.

An invitation is tied to that email address and holds a seat until it is accepted, revoked, or expired (7 days).

Roles

  • Owner: manages billing, members, workspace transfer, and deletion.
  • Admin: manages members and all workspace content.
  • Member: saves, edits, and organises workspace content; can invite others only if the team allows it.

Owners and Admins can see the workspace activity log.

Personal board sharing stays a view-only public link. Multi-editor collaboration inside a workspace is what Teams adds.

Cancel and renew

A team can be cancelled any time: it keeps working until the end of the paid period, then turns read-only. Nothing is deleted — restarting with the same members and content is possible.

note

Workspace file storage is not part of the current Teams offering.
