Marqly uses passwordless sign-in. You can continue with Google, continue with Apple, or use an email verification code.

Sign in with email

1. Open Marqly and go to the sign-in screen.
2. Enter your email address.
3. Select the email sign-in action.
4. Open the message from Marqly and copy the verification code.
5. On Verify Email Address, paste the code into Enter verification code.
6. Continue into the app.

If the code does not arrive, wait for the resend timer to finish. The resend cooldown is 60 seconds.

Sign in with Google or Apple

1. On the sign-in screen, select Continue with Google or Continue with Apple.
2. Complete the provider prompt.
3. Return to Marqly when the provider redirects you back.

note

The old Forgot password route redirects to sign-in. Marqly does not use password reset because passwordless email and OAuth sign-in are the active account flows.

Complete onboarding

New users complete a short onboarding flow.

1. On Tell us who you are, enter your name and username.
2. On What do you want to use this for?, choose one or more intents.
3. On How do you want to begin?, choose a starter template or import bookmarks.
4. Select Finish when you are ready to enter the app.

Available intents include:

• Save things to read later.
• Organize research.
• Keep work links in one place.
• Build a personal library.
• Share collections.
• Something else.

Starter templates include Reading List, Research Hub, Work Dashboard, Inspiration Board, Learning Tracker, and Minimal starter.

Username rules

Usernames must use lowercase letters, numbers, and underscores. They must be 3-30 characters and contain at least one letter.

You can update profile details later in Profile Settings.
